when I read the word,
when I read scripture,
when I spend time with the One who created me,
when I meet Him in secret,
when I fast,
when I do it joyfully and for a reason,
when I do it so I can't be distracted,
when I do it so there's no choice but to be closer and spend more time with Him,
when I see a photo that inspires me,
when I receive insight,
when I refuse to go to bed,
when I can stop being a dork for two seconds to be Jesus to somebody,
when someone I care about returns the favor,
when I can return the favor,
when I rejoice,
when I am glad,
when I can't possibly be more content,
when I couldn't be more happy,
when someone is inspired by my carelessness,
and when it's 3:38 A.M.,
that's when my life on earth is the best.
